- To promote the built environment within local authorities to improve safer outcomes and efficiencies
- Providing an environment to share knowledge, members ideas and experiences
- To further develop the skills and expertise of members
- To represent the interests of members by influencing and commenting on national policy and on Government and institutions committees.
