DESCRIPTION:Following on from the successful visit to Passmores School last October\, a second event has been scheduled for Thursday 9 February 2017\, commencing at 10.00.\n\nThere will be a presentation on ‘The Norfolk Model Primary School’\,  which will be an opportunity to see and discuss the building philosophy and design strategy for a proposed new 2fe model primary school for construction on multiple sites. Other current and proposed primary school and SEN schemes will also be presented\, if time permits.\n\nThe event is being organised by NPS Group\, and will be held at the NPS Offices\, Nautilus House\, 10 Central Avenue\, St Andrews Business Park\, Norwich\, Norfolk NR7 0HR.\n\nLunch will be provided at 13.00\, and it is envisaged that the event will conclude at 14.00.\n\nThe agenda will follow. SUMMARY:Engineers Technical Group Meeting – Soft Landings
DESCRIPTION:There will be an Technical Group Meeting at The Counting House on Tuesday 6th December 2016\, followed by Christmas Lunch. \nIn the morning there will be a presentation by Roderic Bunn\, BSRIA. Rod’s presentation will aim to bring SPACES members up to date with Soft Landings guidance\, the relationship with (and direction of travel of) central Government’s version of it\, and then talk about some of the projects that have adopted it. It will also touch upon some of the new training activities being developed. \nThe agenda is attached. \nAs this is the Christmas meeting\, the meeting will be followed by a two course Christmas Lunch (if you would like a third course\, there will be an additional charge of £5 for all members). This event includes for all refreshments and lunch for each delegate. This is included in the membership fee for full and corporate SPACES members; for individual\, retired\, and honorary SPACES members\, SCQS and ACA members there is a delegate fee of £15 (inc.
