This project was designed to act as a catalyst for the redevelopment of a much neglected part of the city. The simple but effective internal layout is enhanced by the striking internal colour scheme and roof glazing. The accommodation provides an entrance hall with an open plan café area and social rooms separated by a glazed link central area which leads to the toilets, wet room and rehabilitation room. This is a pleasant building which provides a welcome for its patients from the adjacent Day Care Centre when they come for treatment and social interaction.
