ACA Conference 2018 – collaborating for value

5 October, 2018 – 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

NB This is organised by ACA (Association of Consultant Architects) not a SPACES organised event !

Set in the imposing Devonport House in Greenwich, the conference will feature the new FAC-1 Framework Alliance Contract and the TAC-1 Term Alliance Contract both already delivering impressive results. FAC-1 is the only standard form framework alliance contract available in the market and its flexibility means it can be used with any contract form across all sectors.

This Conference builds on recommendations in the Government Construction Sector Deal, the Hackitt Report, Procuring for Value and the P13 Blueprint, and ill illustrate how using the right contracts can make collaboration work better

The keynote speakers Samantha Ulyatt and Kevin Murray from Crown Commercial Service will explain how they are using the new Framework Alliance Contract, FAC-1 to deliver a new generation of consultant and contractor framework alliances. There will be workshops that will analyse value, efficiencies and challenges arising under collaborative programmes such as the Kier/Surrey highways alliance and the off-site manufacture strategies developed by LHC, the Football Foundation and the Construction Leadership Council. We will compare multi-party working under PPC2000 and under the new NEC4 Alliance Contract, and we will be entertained and inspired by marathon runner Tom Boother.

Fees are a very reasonable £95 per delegate for the day.

For further information and to book, please see the ACA website.
