As part of the 2023 Study Day programme of webinars,  Junkers will be discussing Sustainable flooring.

The aim of the Junckers CPD presentation Specifying Sustainable Flooring is to provide you with a good understanding of how solid hardwood floors compliments sustainable building design. Wood is a carbon neutral material and specifying the correct wooden floor can produce a measurable reduction in global warming. We will provide you with an understanding of why this is so, and to help you realise the potential of solid wooden floors over the extended life span of the product.

• How to use EPDs and manufacturers’ tools to evaluate different products at the design stage
• How designing with wood has a positive impact on indoor climate, wellbeing and daylighting
