SPACES Study Day – information regarding the day

Thursday 14th June 2018

2.15pm – Visit to Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD). NB spaces are limited so please book and if possible please bring your own PPE – high vis vest/jacket, hat, boots, glasses and gloves.

2.15pm – Arrival to site (Refreshments in Board Room)
2.30pm – Presentation on scheme and framework by Balfour Beatty – 20mins
2.50pm – Get into PPE
3.00pm – Safety Induction – Site Tour
4.00pm – Finish

There is also the opportunity to visit the Degree Show, that is running at the Manchester School of Architecture from the 9th to the 20th June at the Manchester School of Architecture (very near MECD).

7.30pm – Informal Dinner and Networking at the Whitworth Gallery, to book your place see our events page.

NB Early arrivals can either visit the gallery or there is a pub across the road (Ford Maddox Brown)

(Approx. 0.8 miles from Manchester Piccadilly Station). NB spaces are limited so please book and if possible please bring your own PPE – high vis vest/jacket, hat, boots, glasses and gloves.

Degree Show  – Manchester School of Architecture, Chatham Building, Cavendish Street, Manchester, M15 6BR. Visitors: Please use the Manchester School of Art entrance on Boundary Street West / Higher Ormond Street. See map

Study Day Buffet Dinner and Networking Event – Whitworth Gallery – The Whitworth, The University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester, M15 6ER. Approx. 1.4 miles from Manchester Piccadilly Station.

Study Day Venue – Geoffrey Manton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University, Rosamond Street West, Manchester M15 6EB (see map, which includes local public parking). Approx. 1 mile from Manchester Piccadilly Station. NB This is close but not the same building as last year!
