Tim Carey, Product Director, Willmott Dixon

Biography

Tim is Product Director for Willmott Dixon, responsible for Innovation and Improvement – including the development of new products and services, and the strategic procurement of key OSM suppliers.

A key focus of Tim’s role is to identify and promote innovative methods and products that constructively challenge Willmott Dixon’s existing approaches and improve the quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of our end product.

In addition, Tim is the Director responsible for Sunesis – a Joint Venture between Willmott Dixon and Scape providing pre-designed buildings across a number of market sectors including Education and Leisure. In addition to delivering substantial savings against traditional alternatives via innovative design, Sunesis also benefits from a fully OJEU-compliant procurement route.

To date, Sunesis has delivered over £100m of educational facilities, providing in excess of 8,500 new primary school places across the UK.

A Fellow of the CIOB and a Chartered Environmentalist, Tim studied at the University of Greenwich, before being subsequently awarded both an MBA and a RICS Post-Graduate Diploma from the University of Reading.
