Stephen Heppell presenting at the Study Day

We are really pleased to welcome Professor Stephen Heppell CEO Heppell.net Limited and Felipe Segovia Chair in Learning Innovation at Universidad Camilo José Cela, Madrid to our Study Day on Education on the 20th June.

In his first session,  Stephen will be discussing the UK’s long history of investment in learning spaces of all kinds, and meeting all needs. Looking at how the industry has evolved guidance on the efficient use of energy, on cost per square metre, and so on in our specification of those spaces and the effects not just on building performance but how much it could impact on learning.

In his second session Stephen will be elaborating on the first session to discuss what kinds of spaces are opening up around the world by case studies. It also explores the organisational and structural changes that complement these newly engaged and alert learners. This is what tomorrow’s schools look like, and they are already up and running.

For more information on Stephen and his presentations, as well as David Laws Executive Chairman of the Education Policy Institute and former Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Schools Minister, and Cabinet Office Minister and the workshops that are running, please see our website.
