• Ventilation, thermal comfort and indoor air quality in schools. Explains the ventilation strategies to achieve air quality, thermal comfort and energy efficiency requirements.  Showcases building simulation tools such as IES and BIM modules.
• BB101 Ventilation & IAQ requirements for Schools. Considers the design standard BB101 for Schools focusing on ventilation and indoor air quality. Explains the 2018 changes. Explains the differences between natural, hybrid and mechanical ventilation systems and the role of building simulation to assess design performance.
